Coltex’s fabric Random Mosaic Tile is featured as chair back upholstery at Akira Back Hong Kong , the Michelin-starred chef’s first Hong Kong outpost at landmark The Henderson by Zaha Hadid. Selected by the AB Concept, this fabric in playful rosy colour, which can stimulate appetite and energy that creates a dynamic visual balance with the dining environment, perfectly complementing the chef’s innovative Japanese-Korean fusion cuisine. The design draws inspiration from the philosophy of a “Culinary Symphony”, orchestrating a dramatic yet inviting atmosphere that enhances the multisensory dining experience. This project is particularly special for us, as before our Creative Director Cally started Coltex, she was once part of the AB Concept team, making it feel like a wonderful partnership with an extra layer of connection.
