At Pop City @popcity.singapore project collaborated with Janet Cheung @janetjncheung, Creative Director at PSA @petersillingassociates , the ceiling showcases a custom bronze color with a three-dimensional checked pattern for added durability complemented it with our cushions in a cloud weave design, accented in sunset orange.
Cloud Weave features a delicate interplay of soft, textured tufts against a backdrop of deeper strands. The layered patterns mimic the gentle undulations of sand dunes, while the fluffy accents suggest the fleeting whispers of cloud, inviting touch and inspiring creativity, embodying the essence of nature’s artistry.

Education Programme Collaboration with OWN Academy

Working alongside Natalie and her team for many years, our Creative Director Cally has collaborated with OWN Academy, an initiative dedicated to empowering the next generation through hands-on education and mentorship. In this 9am - 4pm educational program in Coltex’s showroom, we focus on how to use materials as inspiration for creating interior designs with AI.
Each team chose our fabric pattern that they think can work with their topic and then create different styles of interior design with AI. Team Foodie with topic of Magic Forest fantasy created a earthly, cozy cottage with flowers and fairy lights, while Team B with Sci-fi topic created a futuristic cafe with a combination of cyberpunk and solarpunk style.
We aim to equip students with the skills, creativity, and confidence necessary to thrive in the dynamic design landscape, inspiring them to pursue their dreams.

Our Creative Director - Cally Chan is an expert when it comes to designing for luxury hotels and clients. After attending high school at St. Mary's School Cambridge, she finished a degree in Spatial & Interior Design from Chelsea College of Art & Design. She started her career path as an interior designer assistant for an international design consultancy group and eventually decided to start her own company, Coltex Furnishing Limited. She is sharing her experiences in excelling within the textile design industry with The Own Academy's reality show on Youtube on 7th March, 2020 (Sat) at 8pm. OWN Academy is an education movement that empowers young people to be change makers and problem solvers of the future.

In festive season, we have designed a suite of furniture for LeeGardens X FIF Furrytales — a charitable art experience with furry family. At the Christmas-themed photo booth area — Cosy Christmas, an anti-scratch pet-friendly fabric is used to create a pet bed and a lounge chair. Despite its thought-through functionality, the furniture adheres to high standards of aesthetics, making the fabric look and feel velvety soft.
Twig grey with a mixture of yarns, the upholstery is applied at the back of the chair to emulate European-style interiors and a vibrant palette.
As for the rooftop sofa, its outdoor-friendly fabric is matched with green and blue cushions to add a dash of colourful energy to the space.

Come and experience our Comforting Checked in Prairie sofa at the furry rooftop showcasing artist Kitti Narod work and revealing our outdoor-friendly fabric with feature cushions to match, giving it a dash of festive vibes.
The inspiration for our new line is a celebration of our furry pets; if you look closely, the legs mimic the forms of pets paws with soft round forms.
